I've been wanting to get my hands on this baby for the longest time. I've heard so much about it from several beauty gurus but unfortunately for me, it isn't available in Malaysia. I thought I'd get my hands on one next week as I will be travelling to Singapore.
Today, I decided to visit Guardian pharmacy at KLIA 2. I completely walked past this section as I only had one aim - which is to purchase a box of hair dye. My friend who was with me went, "Oh, Bioderma? What's this?" And I was like, what? Swivelled around, lo and behold. Sitting right there Bioderma's ever so famous makeup up remover and a few of their skin care products.
So, I got my hands on these..
Value pack with a free 100ml worth RM38.90. I believe I paid RM98+ for this. (will update upon checking)
A little information on this makeup remover brand:
Bioderma is a water based makeup remover. The one I purchased is for normal to dry sensitive skin. Removes water-resistant makeup despite it being water based. The micelle (definition: an aggregate of molecules in a colloidal solutions, such as those formed by detergents) contained in its formula effectively micro-emulsify impurities while maintaining the skin's balance (soap-free, physiological pH).
Properties:
Fragrance-free formula
Alcohol-free. No phenoxyethanol.
250ml bottle.
Now all you have to do is soak up a clean cotton pad with Bioderma's makeup remover and remove your makeup. Repeat until there is no longer any makeup on the cotton pad. You do not have to rinse your face after but I suggest that you do cleanse your face with your regular cleanser and then proceed to your everyday face care routine.
This makeup remover is by far the best one I have ever come across.
I apologise for the dryness of the cotton pad. My camera's battery ran out before I could capture pictures of the cotton pad
This Bioderma makeup remover is also very gentle on the skin. I have really sensitive eyes. Every time I remover my eye makeup or mascara, I would get red eyes or they may itch. So far I have not experienced any of those with this makeup remover. 2 thumbs up! If I had more thumbs then all thumbs up.
Till next time!
Most of us wear makeup every day, in some form or another. Whether it's lipstick to make your lips pop, mascara to make your eyes look sexy, or eyeliner for a smoky eye, the daily application of these products can quickly add up. Removing your makeup is essential in order to avoid clogging pores and breakouts. Not only that, it will also help you sleep more soundly at night. On top of all this, it's also important to consider the type of cleanser you use.
ReplyDeleteRemoving makeup is not just about getting it off—it's also about maintaining healthy skin. The first step of removing makeup is to cleanse your skin and remove any impurities and makeup by facial wash with salicylic acid that may be clogging your pores or making you break out.
