Hail's Soft Serve | Damansara Uptown

If you're living under a rock (like me), then here's what 'soft serve' is. Soft serve is basically just ice cream but much softer and melts faster too. One of the waiters in Hail's Soft Serve told me that it also does not contain eggs and is also healthier than regular ice cream (yay!).

Today is my first time having 'soft serve' ice cream.

Hail's Soft Serve only officially opened on the 7th Novemeber 2015. I was craving ice cream tonight and thought I'd give this new place a try.

Since they just opened, their menus are still in the process of printing. So, they now only serve soft serves with 2 different flavours and 5 toppings to choose from.

The two flavours are Pink Peppercorn and Black Sesame.

Pink Peppercorn (Signature) - "aromatic dried berry, wrapped in sweet, fruity flavour with a minty, peppery aftertaste". 

Black Sesame (Seasonal) - well, it's black sesame.

At first, it tasted weird. It did taste somewhat like as if there is black pepper in it. But, I could not stop indulging in it. The more I ate it, the more I liked it. It is quite refreshing. Like, mint. But different. And the best part, it is not too too sweet. I did not feel the need to down a full glass of water after.

This just tastes like regular black sesame. However, not too strong. But still pretty good and also not too sweet.

Yes, it is quite pricey for the amount you are getting but hey isn't everything these days.

Note, they will be serving more desserts in due time.
